Here are some things you should know when choosing to buy a home without an agent.
First, you'll be left to decipher piles of paperwork filled with contract language. An agent can help you understand what you’re signing for in the contract.
Second, you won’t have a neighbourhood specialist. A local agent knows the area very well and can give you information a seller might not disclose.
Third, you might not receive the entire seller disclosures to which you are legally entitled.
These are just some of the risks when buying a home without an agent.
